The story of Tasselli cashmere is an extraordinary story that together with that of many other small companies has established Made in Italy on the world stage.

During the seventies Renzo Tasselli discovered specialist skills in the field of decreased and uncut knitwear in the Umbrian tradition, a skilled workforce that from peasant culture learnt not to waste and therefore treat the threads with great care. Renzo knew cashmere well and the success it was having then in Italy and beyond, and understood that it should not be roughly treated by untrained hands. And so was born the Tasselli Cashmere Laboratory, bringing together understanding of the market and an experience born of tradition. Innovation within tradition thus becomes the password leading to growth and to a continuing maturity, even now that Renzo has handed over the company to his sons Diego and Domenico.
